All documentation and examples are based on ActionScript3 and AMF3 which is supported in Flash CS3 and Flex 2.
If you are maintaining and FLash8 or Flash MX which are Action Script 2 based application please use the final 1.2 release and previous documentation.
What you will need
To use AMFPHP you will need to have the following:
- Adobe Flash CS3 or Adobe Flex 2/3
- AMFPHP (sourceforge.net download)
- Web Server running PHP 5.2.5 or greater and FTP/SCP access.
AMFPHP works on all* bundled Unix installs of PHP 5.2.* or greater.
AMFPHP works on the Windows Binaries and installer.
AMFPHP works if you install it from source.
AMFPHP works on Apache and IIS and anything else that can run PHP
